National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

National Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NGMHAAD) is observed annually on September 27. NGMHAAD brings attention to issues related to HIV among gay and bisexual men in the United States and encourage them to get tested and know their prevention options.

Get Involved

You can raise awareness of HIV, address stigma and other barriers that prevent access to care, and encourage gay and bisexual men over 50 to get tested and know their status using Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign resources.

Let's Stop HIV Together aims to empower communities, partners, and healthcare providers to promote testing, prevention, and treatment, and reduce HIV stigma. With campaign resources in English and Spanish, you can play a role in preventing HIV and helping people with HIV stay healthy. The Let's Stop HIV Together campaign is part of the national Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. initiative.
