National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day

National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) is observed annually on October 15. NLAAD acknowledges the impact of HIV on Hispanic and Latinx communities. NLAAD was founded in 2003 by the Latino Commission on AIDS and Hispanic Federation.

Get Involved

You can raise awareness of HIV, address stigma and other barriers that prevent access to care, and encourage people from the Latinx community to get tested and know their status using Let's Stop HIV Together campaign resources.

Let's Stop HIV Together aims to empower communities, partners, and healthcare providers to promote testing, prevention, and treatment, and reduce HIV stigma. With campaign resources in English and Spanish, you can play a role in preventing HIV and helping people with HIV stay healthy. The Let's Stop HIV Together campaign is part of the national Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. initiative.
